Welcome to Mike Richardson Blog hope you can stay onboard for a while. I suppose my biggest claim to fame would be the creation in Limerick Of Big L Radio Limerick, with my then business partner Hayman Harris. I personaly believe that I have achieved a lot more than just Big L, and just maybe I could have achieved an awful lot more, but for now I hope to get down in writing how the world has looked to me in the past, and what the future holds for us all. You might here a lot of people in the entertainment industry talk about picking up their first instrument or maybe starting to sing in their desire to “entertain”. For me I must admit that despite being taught how to play the Violin and pianforté, I really ejoyed playing records! My Parents collection of vynil was quite large as there always seemed to be a party going on for most the time, and while My Mum(Mary) was a brilliant piano player and my Father (Jack) having a pretty ok tenor voice, the records were certainly the mainstay of the house parties I witnessed growing up in North London at 24 Lonsdale Square.
